About

I concept, plan, sketch, wireframe, comp, build and art direct (among other things) — all for the web. I've been at it for the past 11 years. I thoroughly enjoy doing what I do. And to be perfectly honest, I really don't know what else I would do.

I have produced work for companies both small and large, local, national and international. That list includes but is most definitely not limited to: March of Dimes, AT&T, Harrah's Entertainment, Sokolove Law, Auto Trader, The Apartment Guide, Delta TechOps and many, many more.

I enjoy craft beer, bourbon and barbecue. In my spare time, I make beer. I hope someday soon to be able to barbecue again (we moved and my smoker had to stay). I love the process that goes into doing those two things. Quite frankly, I think that's why a lot of web folks gravitate to craft beers. We know there has to be a love for what you do, that there is a process - an art - that goes into making something great. Not just for yourself, but for the users and consumers.

I co-host a podcast about beer and internet called htm-ale. Beer plus the web. Seriously, what's not to love about that? You should check it out. By night, I break out my other superhero suite and become 1 half of 19Labs, a small two man interactive shop. We produce web sites, social media pages and web apps.

Above all, I am a father of two and a husband of one. My kids are the reason I get out of bed each and every morning. No, really. They are literally my alarm clock. But seriously. As cliche as it may sound, they really do inspire me to be a better parent. A better husband. A better co-worker and employee. A better human.
